Vehicle Information
Arctic Cat 1000 ATV (2008-2017)
Arctic Cat 1000 vehicles (ATVs and UTVs) from 2008 to 2017 are renowned for their power and versatility. Powered by the 951cc (or 950cc) H2 V-Twin engine, these models offer robust performance for both work and recreation. This SOHC, 4-stroke, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) engine was the core of the 1000cc lineup during this period, equipping ATVs like the Thundercat, TRV, MudPro, and 1000 XT EPS, as well as UTVs such as the Prowler XTZ and Wildcat. While the H2 V-Twin engine remained the core, significant enhancements were introduced. Notably, the Wildcat X (from mid-2013 onwards) received major engine optimizations (cam profiles, pistons, compression ratios) for increased horsepower, requiring 91 Octane fuel. Clutch and drivetrain refinements, the increasing integration of Electronic Power Steering (EPS), and suspension upgrades (e.g., Fox Podium shocks on the Wildcat X) also marked the evolution of the lineup. Q: Is this product compatible with my Arctic Cat 1000?
