Vehicle Information
John Deere Gator XUV 625 Side-by-Side (2011-2022)
The John Deere Gator XUV 625i was a prominent utility vehicle model, offered from 2011 through 2016. It was powered by a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled 617cc V-twin gas engine, producing 23 horsepower. This model was known for its versatility and reliability. Trim options were primarily color variations, such as the classic Green & Yellow, Camouflage (like Real Tree Hardwoods HD Camo), or Olive & Black, with optional features like 14-inch alloy wheels or high-performance seats. A significant mid-cycle change occurred for the 2015 model year. The top speed of the XUV 625i was reduced from 48.3 km/h to under 40.2 km/h. This change was implemented to comply with new EPA and CARB emissions standards for the "small off-road engine" class. Vehicles exceeding 40.2 km/h fell into a stricter category that the 625i could not meet without a major redesign. A carbon canister was also added in 2015. Although the 625i was not produced beyond 2016, John Deere continued to offer other XUV models in subsequent years, up to 2022. FAQ:

| Air Filter | 200 hours or 1 year | Inspect and service every 50 to 100 hours or at least once per season, more frequently in dusty environments. |
| Coolant | 400 hours or 24 months | If John Deere Cool-Gard coolant is used and tested annually, intervals can be extended: initial service after 3 years or 3,000 hours, then every 5 years or 5,000 hours. For other coolants, the interval is typically 2 years or 2,000 hours. |
