Vehicle Information
Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide Motorcycle - Street (1993-2017)
The Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide, produced from 1993 to 2017, was a prominent model in the Dyna family, celebrated for its factory-custom chopper styling. It featured distinctive wide-set forks, a 21-inch front wheel, and forward controls, embodying a classic cruiser aesthetic. The Dyna series, including the Wide Glide, was discontinued after the 2017 model year, with its lineup merging into the Softail series. Throughout its production, the Dyna Wide Glide saw significant engine evolutions. It began with the Evolution engine (1993-1998), followed by the Twin Cam 88 (1999-2006), then the Twin Cam 96 (2007-2008, 2010-2011), and finally the Twin Cam 103 (2012-2017). Fuel injection became an option in 2004 and standard by 2007, alongside the introduction of a 6-speed transmission in 2007. While primarily offered as the FXDWG/FXDWGI, special editions like the 105th Anniversary model were also available. FAQ:
