The Yamaha V Star 950, produced from 2009 to 2017, is a cruiser motorcycle known for its air-cooled, fuel-injected 942 cc V-twin engine. It was offered in two primary trims: the Standard model and the Tourer model. The Tourer version distinguished itself by including accessories such as a windshield, saddlebags, and a passenger backrest, while sharing all mechanical components with the Standard model. Throughout its production run, the V Star 950 featured a consistent engine and drivetrain with no significant mid-cycle generation or platform changes. Updates were largely limited to new color options and minor cosmetic adjustments. It utilizes a five-speed manual transmission with a final belt drive.
