The Polaris SwitchBack 600 snowmobile, produced from 2004 to 2021, is renowned for its versatility and performance both on and off-trail. It was consistently equipped with a 599cc liquid-cooled, 2-stroke engine. The 600 HO engine, for instance, produced 120 hp in 2006, and later models benefited from the Cleanfire® Injection system for improved throttle response and efficiency. Around 2006-2007, it adopted the IQ chassis, enhancing handling and front suspension, with track changes (e.g., from 144 to 136 inches on some models).
