Vehicle Information
GAS GAS XC 200 Dirt Bike (2000-2019)
The GAS GAS XC 200 is a robust cross-country motorcycle, produced from 2000 to 2019. Sharing many specifications with its enduro counterpart, the EC 200, this model was powered by a consistent two-stroke, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with a displacement of approximately 199 to 199.4cc. The 2000 model delivered around 38 hp at 9,000 rpm and utilized a 38 mm Keihin PWK carburetor. It typically featured a 6-speed gearbox and a reed valve system. While the engine maintained its displacement, the XC 200 saw significant improvements over the years. The most notable update occurred in 2019, introducing a 36mm Keihin carburetor (down from 38mm), a refined electric-start system with a more powerful lithium battery, and updated electrical components. The chassis and suspension also received enhancements, incorporating KYB 48mm front forks and a Sachs rear shock absorber. Ergonomic and aesthetic modifications, such as new Neken handlebars and updated graphics, completed this major refresh. FAQ:
