The BMW F800S, produced from 2006 to 2010, is a versatile sport bike known for its balanced performance and comfortable ergonomics. Powered by a water-cooled, 798 cc parallel-twin engine developed with Rotax, it delivers 85 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 86 N⋅m of torque at 5,800 rpm. This engine features DOHC and a unique balancing system for reduced vibrations, providing a smooth riding experience. Throughout its production run from 2006 to 2010, the F800S was offered as a singular model without distinct trim levels or significant mid-cycle engine changes. While the F800S itself maintained consistent specifications, BMW also offered the closely related F800ST (Sport Touring) concurrently, which shared many components but featured touring-oriented additions like a larger fairing and higher handlebars.
