Vehicle Information
Buell 1125CR Motorcycle - Street (2009-2010)
The Buell 1125CR, available for model years 2009 and 2010, was a distinctive café racer style motorcycle. It was powered by a liquid-cooled, 72-degree V-Twin engine with a displacement of 1125 cc, producing 146 hp (some sources indicate 148 hp) and 111 Nm of torque. The 1125CR was introduced as a new model in 2009. For its debut year, it received updated engine management, including remapped ignition and fuel injection with targeted injectors. These enhancements aimed to improve throttle response, drivability below 6000 RPM, heat management, and fuel economy. The 2010 model year brought several cosmetic and minor functional updates, such as new graphics, bodywork colors, blacked-out components, an LED taillight, and an upgraded front master cylinder for better brake feel. Convenience features like an engine cover sightglass and a pre-wired battery tender plug were also added. Both 2009 and 2010 models are known for charging system issues, particularly stator overheating. FAQ:
