Vehicle Information
KTM 400 RXC Dirt Bike (1994-1998)
The KTM 400 RXC, produced between 1994 and 1998, was an enduro and off-road motorcycle known for its robust LC4 four-stroke, single-cylinder engine. This 398cc liquid-cooled engine, featuring a Single Overhead Camshaft (SOHC) layout, was central to its performance. While specific horsepower figures for the RXC trim are not consistently available, a closely related model, the KTM 400 LC4 EGS, was rated at 29.9 kW (41 hp) at 8500 rpm. During its production run, the 400 RXC underwent significant evolutions. In 1996, major updates were introduced, including E/XC-style racing suspension with Marzocchi Magnum 45 forks and an Ohlins rear shock. The chassis was also redesigned for a slimmer profile, featuring a narrower fuel tank and a refined seat. A new Qwiksilver carburetor was adopted, utilizing an enrichment lever instead of a traditional choke. In 1997, some models like the 400 R/XC E integrated an electric starter in addition to the kick starter. Q: Is this product compatible with my KTM 400 RXC?
