Vehicle Information
KTM 525 MXC Dirt Bike (2003-2005)
The KTM 525 MXC, produced from 2003 to 2005, is a robust off-road racing motorcycle, renowned for its cross-country performance. It features a 510.4 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine with a single overhead camshaft (SOHC) and four valves per cylinder. Fuel induction is managed by a Keihin FCR carburetor. This model was a cornerstone for demanding riders during these years.
During its production, the 525 MXC underwent significant evolutions. In 2003, it received WP suspension upgrades and engine weight reduction through die-cast cases. 2004 brought a new digital control box, a modified crankshaft, and frame changes to reduce weight and improve traction. In 2005, engine fixes were implemented, the FCR-MX carburetor was upgraded, and plastics were redesigned. Both the standard MXC and the specialized MXC Desert Racing trims were available.
