The Suzuki GT750 LeMans, marketed in Canada and the United States, is an iconic motorcycle produced from 1972 to 1977. This liquid-cooled, two-stroke, in-line three-cylinder model was notable as the first mass-produced Japanese motorcycle to feature a liquid-cooled engine, a significant innovation for its time. Throughout its production run, the GT750 underwent several key evolutions. As early as 1973 (K model), it adopted dual front disc brakes and a radiator fan. In 1974 (L model), the engine was re-tuned for increased power, and Mikuni CV carburetors along with a 3-into-4 exhaust system were introduced. The 1975 (M model) saw its power output increase to 73 bhp through ignition timing, gearing ratio, and carburetion adjustments. Later models (A and B) primarily received aesthetic and trim updates.
