Vehicle Information
Arctic Cat 375 ATV (2002)
The 2002 Arctic Cat 375 was a new addition to the lineup, offered in two trims: the 375 2x4 Automatic and the 375 4x4 Automatic. Both models featured a 376cc (also known as 375cc) air-oil cooled, 4-stroke, 4-valve SOHC single-cylinder engine, providing ample power for various tasks. Key new features for 2002 included a redesigned shift lever, footrest, updated styling with new front fascia, fender flares, and dual halogen headlights. The transmission was Arctic Cat's Duramatic automatic with hi-lo range and engine braking, with the 4x4 model offering selectable 2WD/4WD. The "375" model designation was unique to 2002. While its 376cc engine continued in later "400" models (e.g., 2003 and 2005-2006 Arctic Cat 400 4x4), the 375 model itself was not carried over, with the engine integrated into the updated 400 series from 2003 onwards, which introduced features like Fully Independent Suspension on most models. A recall was issued in August 2002 for approximately 45,000 ATVs, including the 2002 375, due to potential front suspension ball joint failure. FAQ:
