Vehicle Information
Arctic Cat Alterra 600 ATV (2022-2026)
The Arctic Cat Alterra 600, an all-new ATV introduced in 2022, has consistently offered robust performance across its 2022-2026 model years. This versatile utility vehicle is powered by a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected 600cc (597cc) engine, delivering a steady 45 horsepower. Power is efficiently managed through a CVTech Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) system. While the core engine and chassis platform remained unchanged from 2022 to 2026, Arctic Cat significantly expanded the Alterra 600 lineup. The 2022 launch established key trims, but 2023 saw the introduction of two-rider (TRV) versions with a longer wheelbase, alongside specialized models like the Mud Pro and Black Hills Edition. These additions brought features such as relocated radiators, snorkels, enhanced gear ratios for mud, and high-clearance A-arms with selectable locking front differentials for challenging terrains. This strategic expansion allowed for greater customization and capability without altering the fundamental vehicle generation. FAQ:
