Vehicle Information
Arctic Cat Alterra 700 ATV (2016-2021)
The Arctic Cat Alterra 700, produced from 2016 to 2021, is a robust and versatile ATV designed for various terrains. Throughout its production, it consistently featured a reliable 695cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI). This powerplant delivered 45 horsepower in models from 2017 to 2019, ensuring strong performance for utility and recreational use. The Alterra nameplate was introduced in 2016, bringing a new chassis and improved ergonomics compared to previous XR models. A significant update occurred in 2018 with the introduction of the "Textron Motors 700 engine." While maintaining the 695cc displacement, this revised engine offered weight reduction and enhanced overall performance, including a direct drive clutch and a new camshaft grind, optimizing the riding experience. Various trims, such as XT EPS, TBX, and TRV, offered features like Electronic Power Steering, cast aluminum wheels, and upgraded headlights across the years. FAQ:
