Honda S90 Motorcycle - Street (1965-1969)
The Honda S90, also known as the Sport 90 or Super 90, is an iconic lightweight motorcycle produced from 1965 to 1969. Positioned as a sporty model within Honda's 90cc lineup, it featured an 89.6 cc (or 90cc) air-cooled, single-cylinder, Overhead Camshaft (OHC) four-stroke engine, consistently producing 8 horsepower at 9,500 rpm. Its lightweight design, built around a pressed steel frame, and a 4-speed manual transmission with a hand clutch made it an agile and capable choice for its era. While the core specifications of the S90 remained largely consistent, a few minor adjustments were made over its production run. Early models (up to 1966) utilized Mikuni carburetors, which were switched to Keihin carburetors starting in 1967. Additionally, the fenders, initially silver-painted, became chrome in 1968. The front suspension also evolved from 1965 with the adoption of hydraulically damped telescopic forks, significantly improving comfort and handling compared to previous systems. FAQ:

Maintenance
| Component | Interval | Details |
| Engine Oil | First change at 500 km. Second at 1,600 km. Third at 5,000 km. Thereafter, every 5,000 km. | Some sources recommend changing every 1,600 km due to the hard-working nature of these small engines. |
| Oil Filter | Every 5,000 km (every three oil changes). | The S90 uses a centrifugal oil filter. Clean the centrifugal filter and oil pickup screen. |
| Spark Plug | Regular check | Correct gap is 0.6 to 0.7 mm. Check spark plug condition during routine maintenance and replace if necessary. Typical lifespan is 13,000 to 16,000 km. |
| Air Filter | Initial check at 1,600 km. Thereafter, every 3,000 km. | Clean and replace as needed. |
