Yamaha DT360 Motorcycle - Dual-Sport (1974)
The 1974 Yamaha DT360 is an iconic enduro motorcycle, produced from 1973 to 1975. It was powered by a 351cc or 352cc two-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, generating between 30 and 32 horsepower. This model was primarily known as the "Yamaha DT360" or "DT360 Enduro," sometimes referred to as "DT360A," with no other distinct trim levels offered. The 1974 model year represented a significant evolution for the DT360. It featured an entirely new, longer and heavier frame, shared with the MX series of the era, which greatly improved its handling. Suspension was enhanced with Yamaha's "thermal flow" shock absorbers. The engine also received optimizations, including porting changes, a larger reed valve, and a 30mm carburetor, resulting in a slight improvement in low-end power. Internal gearing was modified for better top speed, and notably, the 1974 DT360 was the first Yamaha on/off-road bike to incorporate a CDI ignition system, eliminating points maintenance. FAQ:

| Oil Filter | Not applicable | The Autolube system does not have a conventional engine oil filter. The transmission does not have a separate filter. |
| Drive Chain | 1,600 km | Lubricate and adjust as required. Thoroughly clean, lubricate, and adjust every 1,600 km after initial checks at 400 km and 800 km. |
| Spark Plug | As required | Inspect, clean, or replace as required. No fixed mileage interval. |
| Air Filter | 400 km or 1 month | Clean and re-oil. More frequently (daily) in extreme conditions. The foam element must be kept damp with oil. |
