Yamaha AT2 125 Dirt Bike (1972)
The 1972 Yamaha AT2 125 is an iconic enduro motorcycle, renowned for its versatility both on and off-road. This 123cc single-cylinder two-stroke model made its mark with technical innovations and performance. For 1972, the AT2 125 was offered in two main versions: the standard AT2 and the AT2-M (or MX). The standard AT2, with its 12-volt electrical system and electric start, produced 13 bhp. The motocross-oriented AT2-M version was a 20 bhp machine with a 6-volt system and kick start only. This year also introduced significant engine changes, including reed valve induction and a cylinder boost port, enhancing the power band. Q: Is this product compatible with my Yamaha AT2 125?

Maintenance
| Component | Interval | Details |
| Oil Filter | Not applicable | The Yamaha AT2 125 is a two-stroke engine with an Autolube system. There is no traditional oil filter. Check the Autolube system oil level before each ride. |
| Belt | Not applicable | This model uses a chain drive, not a belt. |
| Spark Plug | Every 3,000 to 5,000 km | For older carbureted motorcycles, frequent replacement is recommended. Check the manual for the precise interval. |
| Air Filter | Inspect before every ride; clean after 1-2 rides in dusty conditions; replace every 5,000 to 8,000 km or if damaged. | As an enduro motorcycle, the air filter requires particular attention, especially in dusty conditions. Clean it very frequently. |
| Coolant | Not applicable | The Yamaha AT2 125 engine is air-cooled and does not use liquid coolant. |
