Yamaha XS750 Motorcycle - Street (1977-1979)

The Yamaha XS750, produced from 1977 to 1979, was an inline three-cylinder motorcycle known for its shaft drive and distinctive engine. These models featured a 747cc air-cooled, DOHC inline triple engine. Significant revisions occurred during this period. The initial 1977 models (XS750D and 2D) offered 64 hp. The XS750-2D model addressed a second gear slipping issue and introduced a 3-into-2 exhaust system. In 1978, with the XS750E and SE models, horsepower was increased to 69 hp due to a higher compression ratio (from 8.5:1 to 9.5:1), revised camshafts, and the introduction of electronic ignition.
