Yamaha WaveRaider 700 Personal Watercraft (1994-1997)
The Yamaha WaveRaider 700, produced from 1994 to 1997, is an iconic personal watercraft powered by a 701cc twin-cylinder, two-stroke engine. Renowned for its performance and agility, it made a significant mark in the sport PWC segment of its era. While the 701cc engine displacement remained consistent, notable evolutions occurred throughout its production run. The 1994 and 1995 models featured a twin-carburetor engine producing 80 horsepower. The initial 1994 model was distinguished by its lightweight fiberglass hull. In 1995, a Deluxe version was introduced with a heavier SMC (Sheet Molded Compound) hull and a larger fuel tank. For the 1996 and 1997 model years, Yamaha standardized SMC construction across all WaveRaider models, and the engine was revised to a single-carburetor setup, reducing output to 70 horsepower. These later models also saw the removal of gauges. FAQ:

Maintenance
| Component | Interval | Details |
| Oil Injection System Filter | Regular inspection | Inspect the oil injection system filter. Replace if frayed or torn, or clean if muddy/dirty. |
| Spark Plug | Every 100 hours | Inspect electrode for wear/damage, insulator color, and measure gap. Replace as needed. |
| Air Filter | Regular inspection | Inspect the air filter element for signs of water intrusion and clean the air box. Replace as needed. |
| Engine Flushing | After every use | Crucial, especially after use in saltwater or sandy environments, to prevent debris buildup and corrosion. |
