Yamaha WaveRaider 760 Personal Watercraft (1996)
The 1996 Yamaha WaveRaider 760 was a two-stroke sit-down personal watercraft produced from 1996 to 1997. It was powered by a 754cc, 90 horsepower, 2-stroke twin engine featuring an open-cooling system, two Mikuni carburetors, and an oil injection system. This model was offered as a single trim in 1996. A notable change for the WaveRaider series, including the 760, was the adoption of a heavier Sheet Molded Compound (SMC) hull starting in 1995 with the WaveRaider 1100. This differed from earlier WaveRaider 700 models (1994-1995) which used a lightweight fiberglass body. The WaveRaider 760 itself saw no mid-cycle engine changes during its 1996-1997 production, maintaining its 90 HP specifications. FAQ:
