Yamaha SnoScoot 80 Snowmobile (1988-1990)
The Yamaha SnoScoot 80, produced from 1988 to 1990, is a compact snowmobile designed for younger riders or light recreational use. It featured an air-cooled, 2-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 79cc (often referred to as 80cc), delivering 5.1 kW (7.0 PS) at 6,750 RPM. This engine configuration remained consistent throughout its production run. There were no significant mid-cycle generation or engine changes for the SnoScoot 80 between 1988 and 1990. The primary evolution involved the starting options, with the introduction of electric start versions (designated "EN" or "EP") in addition to the standard kick start. Models SV80E and SV80M were available in 1988, followed by SV80N/SV80EN in 1989, and SV80P/SV80EP in 1990. The independent leaf spring front suspension and mono-shock slide rail rear suspension remained unchanged. Q: Is this product compatible with my Yamaha SnoScoot 80?
