Indian Chief Motorcycle - Street (1950-2026)
The Indian Chief motorcycle boasts a rich and complex history, spanning from 1950 to 2026, marked by significant shifts in ownership, manufacturing, and engine technology. The original era (1950-1953) saw the V-twin engine grow to 80 cubic inches (1,300 cc) and the introduction of modern telescopic forks in 1950, before production ceased in 1953.
