Vehicle Information
Aprilia RSV Tuono Motorcycle - Street (2003-2004)
The Aprilia RSV Tuono from 2003 and 2004 is a naked sportbike renowned for its performance and character. Derived from the RSV Mille superbike, it is powered by a liquid-cooled 998cc V-twin engine. These models offer a dynamic riding experience, combining the power of a sportbike with a more upright ergonomics for road use. For the 2003 and 2004 model years, the engine platform remained largely consistent, utilizing the same 998cc V-twin with 51mm throttle bodies. Unlike the RSV 1000 R superbike, which received a new engine in 2004, the Tuono models of this period did not adopt this significant update. The primary differences between the 2003 and 2004 standard models were cosmetic, such as the frame and swingarm color (bronze in 2003, black in 2004). Higher-specification trims, like the Tuono Racing (2003) and Tuono 1000 R Factory (2004), offered premium components such as Öhlins suspension and Brembo brakes. FAQ:
