Vehicle Information
GAS GAS TXT 80 Dirt Bike (2001-2019)
The GAS GAS TXT 80, a popular trials motorcycle, underwent several iterations and updates between 2001 and 2019. Designed for young riders and beginners, it was offered in various trims to suit different sizes and skill levels. The two-stroke engine, with a displacement of approximately 80cc, saw its size vary slightly over the years, from 68-72.5cc in the early 2000s to around 79-79.14cc for later models. Specific horsepower figures are not typically published for these models. Significant changes marked its evolution. In 2002, the chassis was redesigned, transitioning from square to round tubes and elliptical beams. 2015 introduced a completely new engine, directly inherited from professional trial engines, featuring a specific cylinder, cylinder head, piston, and exhaust. Chassis components were unified with the adult range, and the front suspension, swingarm, and tires (17" and 19") were adapted for young riders. The 2018-2019 Racing models continued this lineage with a new engine based on professional units, a shortened swingarm, smaller wheels, and specific suspensions, even integrating premium parts like Ohlins shocks and Tech forks in 2019.
