The Honda XR250L, produced from 1991 to 1996, was a street-legal dual-sport motorcycle derived from the off-road XR250R. It featured a 249 cc air-cooled, dry-sump, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine with a Single Overhead Camshaft (SOHC) and four valves. This engine delivered approximately 25–30 horsepower, with a bore and stroke of 73 x 59.5 mm and a 9.3:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied by a 30mm Keihin carburetor. Throughout its production, the XR250L was offered as a single, dedicated dual-sport model.
