Vehicle Information
Arctic Cat Blast ZR 4000 Snowmobile (2021-2024)
The Arctic Cat Blast ZR 4000, available from 2021 to 2024, is a trail-focused snowmobile designed for an engaging riding experience. It consistently features a robust 397cc, single-cylinder, 2-stroke C-TEC2 engine with electronic fuel injection (EFI), delivering a reliable 65-class horsepower. This model was introduced as a new mid-sized snowmobile line for the 2021 model year. Throughout its production from 2021 to 2024, the Blast ZR 4000 has maintained its core specifications without significant mid-cycle generation or engine changes. While the broader Blast lineup saw the introduction of other models like the XR and XR Touring in 2022, and all Blast models received improved hand and thumb warmer controls for 2023, the ZR 4000 itself remained consistent in its fundamental design and performance. Variations were primarily limited to color schemes. FAQ:
Q: How do I ensure I select the correct parts for my Arctic Cat Blast ZR 4000?

Maintenance
| Component | Interval | Details |
| Spark Plug | Every 1 600 km | Inspect and/or clean, and replace as necessary. Check center electrode insulator color, carbon, and gap weekly. |
| Drive Belt | 40 km break-in period | During break-in, operate the snowmobile at 3/4 throttle or less, varying engine RPMs (not exceeding 95 km/h) to optimize flexibility and life. Purchase drive belts from an authorized Arctic Cat dealer. |
| Coolant | Check weekly | Check the overflow reservoir when the engine is cold, ensuring the level is between the MIN and MAX marks. |
