Vehicle Information
Arctic Cat Crossfire 500 Snowmobile (2007-2009)
The Arctic Cat Crossfire 500, produced from 2007 to 2009, was a snowmobile known for its robust performance. It consistently featured a 499cc, liquid-cooled, horizontal in-line, 2-stroke, reed valve engine with electronic fuel injection (EFI), delivering approximately 80 horsepower. The primary trim offered for this model was the Crossfire 5. Throughout its production, the Crossfire 500 saw some notable updates. In 2007, the 500 two-stroke engine received an upgrade, incorporating a twin throttle body design, and all Crossfire models gained Push Button ACT Reverse as standard. The 2008 model year largely carried over these specifications. For 2009, Crossfire models underwent a rear suspension overhaul for weight reduction, and the track length was extended to 141 inches from the previous 136 inches on most models. The lighter Arctic Cat Engine Reverse (ACER) system was also introduced, which could be retrofitted to earlier models. FAQ:
