Vehicle Information
Arctic Cat Norseman 3000 Snowmobile (2018-2019)
The Arctic Cat Norseman 3000, available for the 2018 and 2019 model years, is a versatile utility snowmobile designed for various tasks and trail riding. It was consistently powered by a 700cc, 65-horsepower, 4-stroke, 2-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with electronic fuel injection (EFI) across both years. This robust powertrain ensured reliable performance for its intended use. For 2019, the Norseman 3000 received significant mid-cycle enhancements, evolving from the 2018 Norseman 3000 to the Norseman 3000 ES. While the core engine remained unchanged, the 2019 model introduced "Next Gen bodywork" for easier maintenance and improved rider comfort, updated handlebar controls with integrated digital dash information, and a magnetic tether switch. Crucially, it also gained an articulating track, a key improvement designed to prevent the rear of the sled from digging into the snow, especially when reversing. These updates enhanced the user experience and functionality. Q: How do I know if parts fit my Arctic Cat Norseman 3000?
A: To ensure perfect compatibility, please use our year and model selector at the top of the page.
Maintenance
| Component | Interval | Details |
| Engine Oil and Oil Filter | Initial: 800 km. Regular: Every 4000 km or annually, whichever comes first. | Change after initial break-in and before prolonged storage. Some guidelines suggest every 100 hours or annually, with first change at 25 hours. |
| Drive Belt | Inspect every 50 hours. | Requires a 40 km break-in. Inspect for wear and tear; replace if damaged. Typical lifespan is 2400 to 4800 km. |
| Spark Plug | As needed, typically seasonally. | Consult an authorized dealer before changing. Incorrect heat-range spark plugs can cause performance issues or damage. |
| Air Filter | Every 4000 km or seasonally. | Inspect for snow buildup in deep powder conditions. Often replaced during oil changes. |
| Coolant | Check levels before every ride. Change every 2 years. | Check levels when engine is cold. Inspect cooling system for proper function and hose condition. |
