Vehicle Information
Polaris 600RR Snowmobile (2008)
The 2008 Polaris 600RR was introduced as a new race replica snowmobile, built upon the robust 440 IQ chassis. This model was powered by a carbureted 599cc 600 H.O. two-stroke engine, delivering 120 horsepower. For the 2008 model year, the 600RR was offered as a single, distinct model, without multiple trim levels. Significantly, 2008 marked the debut of the 600cc engine in this specific race sled lineage. Polaris engineered several enhancements to improve its trail-worthiness, including a larger nine-gallon fuel cell, a 1.25-inch track, recalibrated suspension, and the addition of push-button reverse. Furthermore, all 2008 IQ sleds, including the 600RR, benefited from new spindles designed to reduce steering effort by 15 percent, and the removal of the front radiator to optimize front/rear balance. FAQ:
