Vehicle Information
Yamaha Phazer Mountain Lite 500 Snowmobile (2007)
The 2007 Yamaha Phazer Mountain Lite 500 marked the return of the Phazer lineup after a five-year absence, featuring a complete redesign. This model was powered by a new 498cc (or 499cc) two-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected four-stroke engine, the Genesis 80FI, producing 80 horsepower. It was built on the new FX chassis, offering a modern and agile riding experience. In 2007, Yamaha offered four Phazer versions: the base Phazer, Phazer GT, Phazer FX, and Phazer Mountain Lite, differentiated by their shocks, ergonomics, and styling. The 2007 model year represented a significant generational change for the Phazer. While there were no major changes within this model year, improvements were made from 2008 onwards, particularly for cooling issues and skid component strength. The Phazer FX trim was discontinued after 2007 to avoid confusion, as all Phazer models utilized the "FX" chassis. FAQ:
