Vehicle Information
Honda Rancher 400 ATV (2004-2008)
The Honda Rancher 400, a robust utility ATV, was produced from 2004 to 2008. Initially equipped with a 397cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, it was known for its reliability. The 2004-2006 models included the Rancher AT with Hondamatic transmission and the Rancher AT GPScape with integrated GPS. A major evolution occurred in 2007, with the introduction of a 420cc liquid-cooled engine featuring electronic fuel injection (EFI), offering more power and improved efficiency. This new platform also brought enhancements like switchable 2WD to 4WD. In 2008, the Rancher AT (TRX420FA) introduced a new dual-clutch automatic transmission, outperforming the previous Hondamatic, and the option of electronic power steering. These changes marked a significant transition for the Rancher series. FAQ:
