The Buell RR1200, produced from 1989 to 1990, is an iconic sportbike powered by a Harley-Davidson 1200 Evolution Sportster engine. This air-cooled, pushrod, 45-degree V-twin engine, with a displacement of 1198cc (or 1203cc), delivered approximately 68 horsepower at 6000 RPM and 97.6 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm, paired with a four-speed transmission. During these years, Buell offered the RR1200 Battletwin, a fully-faired, single-seat sport model. In 1989, the brand introduced the RS1200 Westwind, a two-seater version with a half-fairing, also available in 1990.
