Vehicle Information
Can-Am DS90 ATV (2002-2022)
The Can-Am DS90, a popular youth ATV, was available from 2002 to 2022, offering young riders an accessible and fun off-road experience. Initially, models from 2002 to 2006 featured an 83cc 2-stroke engine. Around 2004-2005, a more modern 89.5cc/90cc 4-stroke engine was introduced, becoming standard from 2007 until 2022. This air-cooled, single-cylinder engine with SOHC and carburetion provided reliable performance. Throughout its production, two main trims were offered. The standard Can-Am DS90, available from 2002 to 2022, came with an automatic CVT transmission, electric start with kick-start backup, and drum brakes. Around 2008, the sportier DS90 X trim was introduced, continuing through 2022. The DS90 X featured significant upgrades like dual hydraulic disc front brakes, HPG piggyback shocks for enhanced suspension travel, a wider stance, and race-inspired aesthetics. These key changes, including the engine transition and the introduction of the X trim, mark the most notable evolutions for the DS90 during this period. FAQ:
