Vehicle Information
Arctic Cat Bearcat Z1 Snowmobile (2009-2014)
The Arctic Cat Bearcat Z1, produced from 2009 to 2014, is a robust utility snowmobile known for its reliability and performance. All models in this range were powered by a consistent 1056cc, liquid-cooled, horizontal in-line, 4-stroke engine, delivering a steady 123 horsepower. This engine, often featuring a DOHC configuration and electronic fuel injection, was integrated into Arctic Cat's Twin Spar chassis, providing a solid foundation for various applications. Throughout its production, the Bearcat Z1 saw several key enhancements and trim introductions. While the core engine remained unchanged, 2011 marked the debut of the Bearcat Z1 XT Limited, offering touring-oriented features like a heated seat and a removable third seat. In 2012, the lineup expanded further with the specialized Bearcat Z1 XT Groomer Special, designed for heavy-duty utility. The 2014 Groomer Special received notable upgrades, including a relocated front radiator with a fan for improved cooling and much lower gearing, enhancing its trail grooming capabilities. Other years saw minor refinements, such as an updated exhaust in 2010 for weight reduction and a lighter track across all models in 2011. FAQ:
