Vehicle Information
Ski-Doo Skandic 800 Snowmobile (2007-2011)
The Ski-Doo Skandic 800, produced from 2007 to 2011, is a robust utility snowmobile powered by the reliable Rotax V-800 engine. This 799.9cc (often rounded to 800cc) liquid-cooled, four-stroke, horizontal in-line twin-cylinder engine features SOHC and electronic fuel injection, delivering 65 horsepower. Key trims included the Skandic V-800 SWT (2007-2011), Skandic Tundra V-800 (2007), and Skandic Tundra LT V-800 (2008-2009). While the Rotax V-800 engine remained largely consistent, there were notable platform changes. In 2007, the Skandic SWT transitioned to the Yeti II platform, and the Tundra V-800 used the RF chassis. These V-800 models continued on their respective platforms throughout the 2007-2011 period, even as other Skandic variants moved to the REV-XU platform. FAQ:
