Vehicle Information
Aprilia RS 125 Motorcycle - Street (1992-2010)
The Aprilia RS 125, produced from 1992 to 2010, was a highly popular GP-derived replica sport production motorcycle. Renowned for its two-stroke engine and agile handling, it featured a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled Rotax engine with a displacement of 124.8 cc across all models. Horsepower varied significantly, from approximately 15 bhp when restricted for learner riders, up to 34 bhp in de-restricted, full-power configurations. Throughout its production, the RS 125 underwent several notable revisions. The first generation (1992-1995) featured an angular tail, square headlight, and Rotax 123 engine. A transition period (1995-1998) saw the introduction of a rounded headlight and digital gauge, with the Rotax 122 engine appearing in some markets. The third generation (1999-2005) brought more rounded, bulbous fairings and five-spoke rims. Finally, the 2006-2010 models adopted angular, RSV-style fairings, dual headlights, and radial brake calipers, continuing with the Rotax 122 engine and adapting to EURO3 emissions standards. FAQ:
