Vehicle Information
Kawasaki KX450F Dirt Bike (2006-2018)
The Kawasaki KX450F, a high-performance motocross motorcycle, dominated tracks from 2006 to 2018. Powered by a 449cc liquid-cooled DOHC four-stroke single engine, it is renowned for its power and agility. Throughout its production, the KX450F underwent several major evolutions. The first generation (2006-2008) was initially carbureted with a 4-speed transmission, upgrading to 5-speed in 2007. The second generation (2009-2011) introduced battery-less electronic fuel injection and an entirely new chassis. The third generation (2012-2015) focused on optimizing frame rigidity and integrating the DFI coupler system for quick ECU adjustments. Finally, the fourth generation (2016-2018) was completely redesigned, featuring significant weight reduction, a revised engine, and the adoption of Showa SFF Air TAC forks. These changes allowed the KX450F to remain at the forefront of competition. FAQ:
