Vehicle Information
KTM 450 SX Dirt Bike (2003-2006)
The KTM 450 SX is a high-performance motocross motorcycle produced from 2003 to 2006. It featured a 449.4 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine and a 4-speed gearbox, designed for competitive racing. The 2003 model introduced the 450cc engine, replacing the 400cc, with significant updates to engine cases, subframe, and bodywork. In 2005, a new frame and chassis were implemented for improved agility, alongside engine enhancements like a strengthened crankshaft and lighter piston. While the 2006 450 SX was largely a carryover, this year also saw the introduction of the next-generation 450 SX-F, featuring a DOHC engine and electric start, marking a significant evolution for the KTM motocross lineup.
