Description
These CRF triple clamps have been completely redesigned in 2017. They fit both the previous 48mm and the new 49mm KYB forks. Riders with pre 2017 models will gain the benefits Honda put into the stock 2017 triple clamps, plus the following.
Riders with 2017 models will 1) gain a more comfortable bar position 5mm lower and 3mm forward; 2) Weight savings is 5 oz lighter than stock; 3) Not only are they made from 2024 Aluminum which is the same alloy the factory teams use but the whole area where the bottom clamp wraps around the forks has been designed to flex and work with the front suspension. 4) Ride Eng. have three offsets to choose from to customize the handling of your bike. 22mm Offset recommended for Motocross (MX); World Off-road Championship Series (WORCS) & Desert Racing (DR) (stock offset for 48mm forks is 20mm, for 49mm forks is 22).
Test riders switching from 20mm offset said "it calms down the nervous front end making it better in ruts and on rough, loose terrain".

Vehicle Information
KTM 250 EXC Dirt Bike (1989-2023)
The KTM 250 EXC, produced from 1989 to 2023, is a renowned enduro motorcycle known for its continuous evolution in engine technology, chassis design, and various trims. This model line includes both two-stroke (EXC) and four-stroke (EXC-F) variants, each with distinct development paths. The nominal engine displacement has consistently been around 249cc to 250cc across the range. Significant generational shifts mark the 250 EXC's history. For two-stroke models, a major transition occurred in 2018 with the introduction of Transfer Port Injection (TPI) fuel injection, replacing carburetion for improved efficiency and smoother power delivery. The four-stroke EXC-F variant was introduced around 2006-2007, featuring a DOHC engine and later incorporating fuel injection around 2010-2011. Chassis and suspension also saw major overhauls, notably with the PDS rear suspension in 1999, and lighter frames and updated components in 2008 and 2017. Special editions like the "Six Days" trim, introduced around 2012, offer premium components for both two-stroke and four-stroke versions. FAQ:
