Vehicle Information
BMW F800GT Motorcycle - Street (2013-2020)
The BMW F800GT, produced from 2013 to 2020, is a sport-touring motorcycle that succeeded the F800ST. It consistently featured a 798cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, delivering 90 horsepower (66 kW) and 86 Nm of torque. Introduced in 2013, the F800GT brought significant improvements over its predecessor, including a redesigned full fairing for enhanced weather protection, revised ergonomics, a longer single-sided swingarm, and standard Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS). Optional features like Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA) and Automatic Stability Control (ASC) were also available from its launch. A notable update occurred in the 2017 model year to comply with EU4 emissions standards. This revision introduced a Ride-by-Wire throttle, new standard riding modes ("Road" and "Rain"), and an optional "Dynamic" mode. The engine management system was updated, and the instrument cluster received a redesign for improved readability and additional information. The F800GT largely carried these specifications through to its discontinuation around 2020, with no further major generational changes. FAQ:
