Description
SNOWMOBILE DRIVE STABILIZER, THE MOST ADVANCED SNOWMOBILE DRIVE COMPONENT ON THE MARKET !!!Tired of wiggling and zigzagging? Forget the footsteps of others and regain control with the Aggressive or Semi-Aggressive SnowTracker.Do you want to have control of your snowmobile on icy or snowy trails like a Formula 1 on the pavement? Yes it's possible! Thanks to the aggressive and semi-aggressive Snowtracker kit, you will find the pleasure of driving your snowmobile on straight or curved trails, with an aggressive grip and without swaying. By installing a Snowtracker, you will now have absolute control, unmatched traction and optimal precision with your snowmobile.Including self-sharpening healds with 6 to 7.5" of carbide (depending on the ski model of your machine). The healds and stabilizers offer a penetration of more than 1" deep in the snow. The height of the stabilizers is lower than the beams, so the stabilizers will not touch the paved path. It is only the carbide of the arm that will wear. The sharpening of self-sharpening heddles occurs when the steel of the heald wears on each side of the carbidelames forming the same principle as sharpening a lead pencil. Here is that the carbide being harder than the sides of the arm, the steel of the arm wears out a little faster in the gravel and on the asphalt it is the carbide which rubs the most therefore what produces a balanced sharpening during throughout the wear of the carbide. Also the wear of the arm being slowed down by a heat treatment to be more resistant to wear. Therefore, the arm always keeps its cut in new condition during the complete wear of the carbide, for more performance and grip on ice and snowmobile trails.

Vehicle Information
Polaris Shift 550 Snowmobile (2009-2013)
The Polaris Shift 550, produced from 2009 to 2013, was a popular snowmobile known for its excellent value and straightforward design. It consistently featured a robust 544cc fan-cooled, 2-stroke engine across all model years, reliably delivering over 60 horsepower. This engine type was a hallmark of its performance and ease of maintenance. While the core engine and overall philosophy remained consistent, the 2010 model year brought a notable platform upgrade. This included a lighter, cut-down front-end design, the integration of coupler blocks into the skidframe, and enhanced shock absorbers, specifically a Ryde FX gas shock in the front and a Fox Position Sensitive damper in the rear. Subsequent years, from 2011 to 2013, primarily saw the introduction of various trim levels and options, such as electric start (ES) models, different track lengths (like the 136-inch track), and the LXT variant, rather than fundamental generational shifts in the chassis or powertrain.
