Vehicle Information
Moto-Ski Sonic 250 Snowmobile (1976)
The 1976 Moto-Ski Sonic 250 was a notable snowmobile model, marking a period of significant integration with Bombardier's Ski-Doo line following Moto-Ski's acquisition. This model was equipped with a nimble Rotax 247cc engine. For 1976, Moto-Ski models, including the Sonic, were essentially orange-colored versions of Ski-Doo models, exclusively powered by Rotax engines. The Sonic series was primarily offered in 250cc and 340cc engine displacement variants, with the Sonic 250 being a limited-production model. The 1976 model year brought several key design changes. The headlight was relocated from inside the front scoop to the top of the hood, and a low windshield was added. The previous 259 cm cleated track was replaced with a longer 289 cm internal-drive molded-rubber track, which was mounted nearly 18 cm farther back in the chassis to enhance ride quality and stability. Fuel capacity also significantly increased to approximately 20.8 litres. Q: How do I know which parts fit my 1976 Moto-Ski Sonic 250?
A: To ensure perfect compatibility, please use the year and model selector at the top of this page.
