Vehicle Information
Polaris Classic 800 Snowmobile (2004)
The 2004 Polaris Classic 800 is a high-performance snowmobile from Polaris's renowned Classic line. It features a powerful 794cc, liquid-cooled, horizontal in-line, reed valve, 2-stroke engine, typically producing around 145-150 horsepower. This model was offered alongside other Classic trims like the 340, 550, 500, 600, and 700, including a Touring variant for the 800. For the 2004 model year, Polaris introduced significant enhancements to the Classic 800. The 800 Liberty engine received Polaris Electronic Reverse Control (PERC), improved cooling with a new flow design and a 909 gear for 40% more coolant, Detonation Elimination Technology (DET), and automatic decompression for easier starting. All Liberty engines, including the 800, were equipped with a TEAM roller secondary clutch. A new "low pin" clutch was also introduced to smooth takeoffs. The suspension was upgraded with the M-10 rear skid as standard, and the 800 specifically featured the M-10 ACE system. Comfort was improved with the new Polaris Adjustable Seat System (PASS), offering an adjustable bun, increased storage, and better lighting. These updates aimed at enhancing performance, reliability, and rider comfort. Q: Is this product compatible with my 2004 Polaris Classic 800?
