Vehicle Information
Suzuki Eiger 400 ATV (2002-2007)
The Suzuki Eiger 400, produced from 2002 to 2007, is a versatile all-terrain vehicle (ATV) known for its robust performance. It was consistently powered by a 376cc, SOHC, four-stroke, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine throughout its production run. This engine, featuring a Keihin CVK32 carburetor, was specifically tuned for high torque output and quick acceleration, making the Eiger 400 a reliable choice for various tasks and terrains. While the core engine remained unchanged, the Eiger 400 offered several configurations. These were primarily distinguished by drivetrain (2WD or 4WD) and transmission type (manual or automatic). Key trims included the LT-F400 (manual, 2WD), LT-A400 (automatic, 2WD), LT-F400F (manual, 4WD), and LT-A400F (automatic, 4WD). Automatic (CVT) and manual variants had distinct transmission housings and components, though engine internals were shared. 4WD models also added a front differential and driveshaft. A notable recall in late 2001 affected some early 2002 models due to a crankshaft flaw, which Suzuki addressed promptly. FAQ:
