Vehicle Information
Can-Am Quest 650 ATV (2002-2004)
The Can-Am Quest 650, marketed under the Bombardier brand from 2002 to 2004, is a robust ATV designed for adventure. It is powered by a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, 4-valve Rotax engine with a 644cc displacement. This engine is fed by a Mikuni BSR42 carburetor and paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) featuring high/low range, neutral, park, and reverse.
During its production run from 2002 to 2004, the Quest 650 did not undergo any significant generational or engine changes. The 644cc Rotax engine remained consistent throughout. Evolutions primarily involved the introduction of new trims, such as the Quest XT, which added a winch, heavy-duty bumpers, and chrome rims, and the Quest MAX in 2004, a 2-passenger model. These additions were range expansions rather than fundamental redesigns. A known issue with the transmission potentially sticking in low range was addressed by a Bombardier recall.
FAQ: Q: How can I ensure parts fit my Can-Am Quest 650? R: To guarantee compatibility, please use the year and model selector at the top of this page.
