Vehicle Information
Ski-Doo GSX 1200 Snowmobile (2009-2015)
The Ski-Doo GSX 1200, produced between 2009 and 2015, is a touring and performance snowmobile known for its reliability. It was powered by the Rotax 1200 4-TEC engine, a 1170.7 cc three-cylinder with electronic fuel injection, producing 130 horsepower. This engine, housed in the REV-XR chassis, offered stable performance and enhanced comfort for long rides. While the 1200 4-TEC engine remained consistent, significant chassis and suspension developments occurred. The REV-XR chassis was designed to accommodate the four-stroke engine and improve wind protection. From 2014 onwards, the rMotion rear suspension was introduced on GSX SE and LE models, significantly enhancing ride quality. The SE (Special Edition) versions often featured a 137-inch track, Air Control Suspension (ACS), heated seats, and tilt steering, while LE (Limited) models typically came with a 120-inch track. FAQ:

Maintenance
| Component | Interval | Details |
| Engine Oil and Filter | Every 100 hours or annually | First change at 25 hours for break-in. Use manufacturer-specified synthetic oil (e.g., 0W-40 or 5W-40). Check level every few rides. |
