Polaris Sport 550 Snowmobile (2004)
The 2004 Polaris Sport 550 is a fan-cooled snowmobile, part of Polaris's lineup featuring the reliable 544cc 2-stroke engine. For the 2004 model year, Polaris introduced significant upgrades to the 550 fan engine, including a new pipe and digital ignition, which boosted horsepower and improved fuel economy. This year also saw a focus on overall quality. Key enhancements included the addition of Polaris Electronic Reverse Control (PERC) and the TEAM roller secondary clutch to both 340 and 550 fan engines. Furthermore, the 550 Pro X Fan was introduced as a new model, and the Trail RMK, also powered by the 550 fan engine, transitioned to the EDGE chassis with Altitude Compensating Carburetion System (ACCS). These changes mark a notable evolution for the 2004 models. Q: How do I ensure this product fits my 2004 Polaris Sport 550?
