Vehicle Information
Polaris SwitchBack 700 Snowmobile (2004-2008)
The Polaris SwitchBack 700, produced from 2004 to 2008, is a versatile crossover snowmobile known for balancing trail performance with off-trail capability. Throughout its production, it consistently featured a 700cc liquid-cooled, 2-stroke Liberty engine, evolving in power and efficiency. This period saw significant advancements in the SwitchBack 700's platform. Initially launched with a 144-inch uncoupled suspension, the model transitioned to the IQ chassis in 2006. Further refinements in 2007 included a shortened chassis and the introduction of the 700 HO CFI engine. By 2008, Polaris introduced a coupled 136-inch rear suspension, the RAW Hybrid Chassis, and an upgraded independent A-arm front suspension, enhancing on-trail handling. Engine technology also progressed, with the 2008 Liberty 700 CleanFire offering increased horsepower. The "Dragon" trim, featuring premium components, emerged in later years, providing a more performance-oriented option. These changes represent distinct evolutions in the sled's design and performance. Q: Will this part fit my Polaris SwitchBack 700?
