Vehicle Information
Arctic Cat M 858 Snowmobile (2025-2026)
The Arctic Cat M 858 snowmobile, introduced for the 2025 and 2026 model years, is a high-performance mountain machine designed for the Catalyst chassis. It is powered by a new 858cc two-stroke engine, which represents a significant upgrade over its predecessor. This engine offers an 11% increase in output and is 4% lighter than the C-TEC2 800 engine, placing it in the 165-horsepower class, with estimates up to 183 horsepower. The introduction of the 858cc engine in 2025 is the primary mid-cycle change for this period, replacing the previous 800cc engine within the Catalyst platform. For 2025, the M 858 is available in trims such as the base M 858, the M Sno Pro with AC5S shocks, and the M Mountain Cat and M Mountain Cat ATAC. In 2026, the lineup expands, notably under the Sno Pro designation, with various track, lug, and gauge options, including Electric Start. The 858cc engine will also receive tweaks for improved running quality. FAQ:
