Description
The Shaper Bar takes the wearbar design and performance to a new level! This bar offers a unique shape that provides much better turning than conventional bars and offers a 20% weight savings too! The concave side profile on the Shaper Bar grabs and holds snow rather than allowing snow to slip by like other wearbars. While the shape of this bar improves the turning radius of your sled on the trail, the large 60º carbide provides great control and wear on hard surfaces. The "Shaper" Bar is the original and still the best handling wearbar in the industry since 2002. Made from "cold rolled steel" to the patented shape with large 60° degree cutting carbide for durability and precise handling. The concave side profile grabs and holds snow for better and more precise turning. NOTE: Now E-coated in a corrosion-resistant black finish (may receive zinc plated bars -depending on stock). Sold in pairs.

Vehicle Information
Polaris Indy 550 Snowmobile (2013-2026)
The Polaris Indy 550, produced from 2013 to 2026, is a reliable trail snowmobile known for its simplicity and robustness. It features a 544cc, 2-stroke, fan-cooled, twin-cylinder engine that maintained its core specifications throughout this period. This engine uses a carbureted fuel system and Digital CDI ignition, providing consistent power for trail riding. The PRO-RIDE chassis, valued for its stiffness and handling, served as the primary platform for most Indy 550 models. Several trims were offered, including the base INDY, the INDY LXT for two-up touring, and the INDY Adventure with a rear rack and tow hitch. The most significant evolution within the 550 lineup was the introduction of the INDY EVO around 2019. Designed for new or smaller riders, the EVO features compact ergonomics, a lower stance, and electronically limited speed to 80 km/h (kits are available for full-speed upgrades). This version incorporates a specific INDY EVO suspension and PRO-RIDE adjustable front suspension, offering a tailored riding experience. FAQ:
Q: Did the Polaris Indy 550 undergo major changes between 2013 and 2026?
